Saving up pays

As a way to recover some value from play you’d do anyway, yes.
The larger bonus money packs are the most efficient use of coins. As a reason to play more, no. Even through challenges, coins return only about 1% to 2% of stakes, and the base earning rate returns a tiny fraction of that, so coins don’t change the maths of any session.
